Crisis On First KESTS

A Science Fiction short story by James E. D. Cline

This short story was written at the urging of my friend that wants me to write fiction, suggesting I use some event of my own real life as a seed pattern for an imaginative event in fiction, occurring in space.

This short story tells of how one kind of crisis might be dealt with, a feared scenario where a rupture within a structure under construction due to a stong wind and rainstorm's lateral loads.

Chapter 2 also describes a more fanciful development of a maintnenance tool, which is not of a technology considered as physical reality on this website, but it does provide a thread of continuity between the later stories of the saga.
